Well, there is nothing more interesting and challenging than Animals As Leaders. They produce highly technical, intricate and precise instrumental Metal that manages to never stay still. The beauty of an Animal As Leaders track is that you never quite know where it is going next as they carve elaborate labyrinths of pulsating noise that bounces from melodic to harsh at the drop of a hat. Live, there is the added bonus that they frequently improvise and jam meaning that every single time they play a song it is different and unique to that performance. So If you like your Prog jagged and abrasive with a side order of freestyle then Zippo stage early afternoon Saturday is the place to be.
