81. Fleet Foxes - 'Shore'
Loved the first Fleet Foxes album. It spoke to my heart. Exquisitely beautiful harmonious melodies that were full of hope and optimism. Second album was sadly rather dull and third was even duller still. This thankfully is a major return to form. It has the playfulness and lightness of touch that made that first record so interesting and intriguing. It feels far less caught in its own brilliance than either “Helplessness Blues” or “Crack-Up” were. Instead it seems content to be what it is, a collection of delightful and dainty pop songs
