Forbidden to Embark on ’40 Years of Twisted Evil’ Tour in August
Forbidden are thrash metal legends, no question. I dare you to question this, to be honest. The Bay Area vets are currently in a different, “resurrected” form, splitting from guitarist Steve Smyth last year. That’s not stopping them though, because they’ve just announced they’re going on a special “40 Years of Twisted Evil” European tour later this year in August. It’s meant to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the band forming as well as the 35th anniversary of the band’s 1990 sophomore album Twisted Into Form.
According to Locicero, new music with the resurrected form of the band will hopefully come out this year. Now sans Smyth, the current lineup subs in Voivod’s Daniel Mongrain in his place, along with bassist Matt Camacho, vocalist Norman Skinner, and drummer Chris Kontos.
